Waiting a long time is usually not a good idea but it may be good in your case. Here is why - you will need to change your approach and strategies and i think some forgetting is good in this case. I would get MGMAT books and set aside 3 months to go through them.

However, ahead of time, you need to get your English up to standards if it is not. You mentioned your native language is German and you live in BKK - that's a lot of languages :)

Anyway, focus on your exams. If you screw up your GPA, it is impossible to Fix. GMAT can be taken many times!

By the way, see this thread: where-would-you-like-to-travel-94868.html

Well, I'm doing my mandatory internship here in Bangkok, and I have to go back to Germany in September. But I agree with you, since I also have to take the TOEFL test, it's a good idea to do the TOEFL and my 2nd GMAT attempt in this 6 month break because I can probably bundle my english skills from both tests.

I'd take TOEFL first; that's what i did and I thought it was helpful, though not as much any more now that TOEFL is completely different from GMAT (used to have grammar on the test).

Today I got my official GMAT score, at least I reached 4.5/6 in the AWA section, which is ok for the first attempt.
Now I'm thinking whether it's worth the effort to retake the GMAT or not, since I won't need it for the normal Master degree. Do you think it's an enrichment to my application if I enclose the GMAT to my application for non-GMAT masters?
My GMAT score is 460 and AWA is 4.5 out of 6.
