I prepaed GMAT like 2 years ago but it was not a very thoughout plan. On and off...
Recently I decided to pick up GMAT again and would like to make a 3 months plan based on the first practice result.
However, the result comes out really low of 480 and I am tageting at 720 to get into TOP10 Part Time MBA.
Total: 480
Verbal 18
Quantitative 39
I am non-native and recently moved to US for work.
Fm 480 to 720, it seems like a far far far way to go.. I will make a plan regardless to fullfil my target but if any of you can give me some advice, that will be great.
I know it is hard. I am very disappointed at myself.

Read the following journey, it was someone who went from a 490 to 700.

Don't lose heart, many individuals on here have improved their scores massively, and if they could there is no reason that with hard work you can't. You have to truly believe you can score a 720.
I recommend you obtain the MGMAT series of 8 books and Powerscore CR. Look through the RC section for materials that will improve your reading skills. With these materials you will have a good base upon which to base your study.

Don't sweat it. 480 to 720 is perfectly achievable. I went from 530 to 750 in 3.5-4 months. If you're willing to put in the time (I studied around 250-300 hours during that time and took 16 practice CATs), you can also make a huge improvement.
