Thanks for the vote of confindence guys! I'm still auditing my answers from my last GMAT Prep test. I posted two questions in the GMATclub math section that I couldn't answer. I'm planning on taking a MGMAT test this weekend to see where I'm at. I want to save my last GMAT Prep test for the week before my test date. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Don't worry too much about your first GMAT Prep score. It's like drawing a line in the sand. You can look back and see where you were to begin with, but it can be blown away in the wind so it doesn't matter. Getting ready for the actual thing is what matters, and you're doing that.

If you're weak in the quant, then focus on that. Start an error log showing the type of question and which part of it you got wrong. This will help you track your weakest areas within quant. My problem is sets and comb/perm. I've got a vacation day set for June 4th, but am thinking of pushing back the date. With the time you've got before you take it, you'll be fine. I took the GMAT the first time before ever coming to GMATClub. I was taking Kaplan's Preimeire program out of the book available at Barns & Noble. I think I was getting mid 500s before I took the GMAT and got a 650 on it.

Be confident. Don't stress out. Take prep seriously. Go over Sentence Correction (SC) and pay close attention. Read them outloud as well. There are somethings that may sound ok when read to yourself, but when read outloud, the problems jump out at you. Of course, you can't do that on test day, but if you practice like that, the problems will be apparent without reading them outloud. (This advice doesn't really apply if you're not a native english speaker. If that's the case, Sorry, I don't have advice for that as I am a native english speaker).

How did you do on Data Sufficieny? There seems to be something about the way those questions are strucutred that mess with me. I seem to get those wrong the msot often.

I agree. After all, this is just the start.

I have been studying about two weeks since my last practice exam. I have taken one MGMAT practice test and scored a 600 [35Q 38V]. My real GMAT is scheduled for the first week in July and thankfully it's in the afternoon. I'm not a very good test-taker in the morning.

Where I'm not improving
I'm struggling with some of the number properties, and algebra (mostly DS questions). I'm getting better with the geometry and overall PS style questions.

Where I've improved
I've seen a huge improvement in sentence correction, and I was able to identify that I continuously missed the inference questions in the reading comp passages. I've since been able to correct that problem.

My biggest worry
I need to score a 44+ on my quant to be competitive for Haas. My academic background does not show much in the way of quantitative coursework, and what quant I do have I did not do that well in (hence why I'm not doing to well with some of the questions)

Here's to one more month of studying!
