Hi YashO7

Welcome to GMATClub!

Congrats on taking the first step. It's not a great score but what
is important is to remember that it is only a starting point :)

Since you are beginning with preparation, I would recommend you to do the following things.

To build the basic strategy to tackle GMAT, you could use the Manhattan Strategy Guides.
It makes sense to clear your concepts for every topic and then follow it up with some
practice. You could use the PowerScore CR bible in order to build concepts for CR.

Verbal Section Prep
For RC, you could refer to the below-given link
https://gmatclub.com/forum/guide-to-rea ... 21112.html
For practice, you can find all the questions at GMATClub. You should use the Timer feature to
time yourself once you are familiar with the concepts.

Quant Section Prep
Follow Bunuel. Solve all the questions in his signature. They contain some awesome questions
that give you the true taste of GMAT(Baker's Dozen, 12 Easy Pieces, Fresh Meat etc..)
Make it a habit to sure you solve each and every question he puts up on the forum to improve
your accuracy once you have completed the concepts.

For tests, you should purchase the GMAT Prep Collection Bundle(contains 2 exam packs
EP1 and EP2 and a question pack). You will be using this much later in your preparation!

Last but not the least, you could check out our study plan:

Hope this helps you!

Hi Yash,

I’m glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help. Before providing specific advice, I’d like to learn more about your situation with the GMAT. I have some questions:

1) Please describe how you have been studying. For many hours a day and for how many months? What resources have you been using?

2) To what programs will you be applying? What are the deadlines for these programs?

3) By when would you LIKE to take the GMAT? By when MUST you take the GMAT?

4) How many hours a day, on average, can you study between now and your next GMAT?

5) What is your GMAT score goal?

You also may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

As pushpitkc mentioned, there is a lot you can do at this stage. Study a bit and then check whether your practice tests start to look more manageable.
