Hi! Hope everyone is doing well.
So I have my exam scheduled on Friday (30th January). I have just attempted the first official mock and scored 645 (Q83, V83, DI79). My target score is 680+. I am currently lost on how to improve my score considering I have exhausted most of the practice material. My prep included TTP self study course along with OG questions as well as GMAT Club.
Here's a section-wise breakdown:
- For Quant, I got 4 questions wrong which included the very first 2 questions and the very last 2 questions of the test. I simply did not have enough time left for the last two and had to guess them. For the first two, my mind went completely blank and I could not figure out how to solve them at all; when I reviewed them after the test I realized how fairly simple the two were. During my review after the test, all 4 questions that I got wrong, I solved correctly. I am assuming my concepts are solid, but how do I ensure there application?
- For Verbal, I got 5 wrong. 3 from CR and 2 from RC. CRs were all wrong due to time constraint at the end. RCs were wrong as I missed the correct information the question asked for. I want to point out another thing here as well: I don't clearly follow any strategy while attempting verbal questions. I feel like my score in verbal is stuck. Any help on that is welcome.
- For Data Insights, I got 7 questions wrong. I am really struggling with time management (spent around 4.5 minutes on three questions each). This consequently affects my ability of getting other questions correct.
Any advise on improving my score in the limited time I have left is really appreciated.
