Hey all this is my first post, I have been reading through some of the post and I see that is site is going to be very helpful to me.
This is my second go around on the GMAT, the first go around was about 4 years ago and I did not fair so well~hence that is why I am here now and this time I plan to give myself ample amount of time to get ready. The first time I studied on my own for two months with a couple of books from Kaplan and one from Barron.
The one question I have is how does everyone feel about taking prep courses? Seeing that I did not fair very well on my own the first time, I think I need to seek out some help. If anyone has taken any prep course, please give me your feedback. I was thinking about taking Manhattan GMAT.

I am sure that good preparation will almost guarantee you a 600+ maybe even a 700+.
Good luck with your GMAT studies.
I have never taken any GMAT courses. If I could afford it, I would probably take one to make sure I took everything out of all GMAT preparations available. However, I still think they are too expensive for the amount of info they give you.

Tomorrow I start my perparations for the GMAT as I plan to take it sometime in late October.
