Hi SaintJohn,

A 620 is a solid baseline CAT score (the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 540-550 most years). The accuracy of any CAT score is based heavily on how realistically you choose to take the CAT though:

1) Did you take the FULL CAT (with the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take it at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
3) Did you take it at home?
4) Did you do anything that would be considered unrealistic (skipping sections, pausing the Test, taking longer breaks, etc.)?
Etc.

As you continue to study, you should plan to take 1 FULL-LENGTH CAT every 1-2 weeks and do so under realistic conditions.

As an aside, were there any typos in your post? From what you've described, you saw 21 SCs, but only 8 RCs. That is NOT going to be the case on Test Day (you'll see fewer SCs and more RCs).

Considering how much time you have before your Test Date, and the fact that you're not applying until Round 1 (2016), you're in a great position to hit your goals. I suggest that you study as you see fit for another 2 weeks, then take another FULL CAT. From that score result, we'll have a better sense of how well your studies are going and what adjustments might need to be made.

Rich
