Just took my first practice GMAT test...and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I got a 570 and the schools I'm looking at I need at least a 675 for a competitive score.
Long story short, I withdrew from a highly ranked law school so the verbal section comes pretty naturally (especially after the tortuous LSAT studying). I scored a 45 and that was my first time through.
But my quant is a COMPLETELY different story- 27. Being in law school and accounting major in college I haven't even seen any type of math other than basic multiplication since high school.
Question is, should I completely ignoring studying for verbal and focus solely on my quant score? I know my verbal score isn't near perfect and can be improved, but I have only a month period to study and my quant obviously needs a lot of help.Or should I play to my strengths and get my verbal score as best as it can be and take time away from quant?
Would appreciate any advice
