Total cost split among 5 = X
each paid X/5 = Y --------------(1)

when 4 of them paid for X cost lunch
the amount paid by each raised by Y+6

X/4 = Y+6
X/4 - 6 = y -----------------(2)

equating both
x/4 - 6 = x/5
x-24/4 = x/5
5x-120 = 4x
x= 120
