My exam is in 2 weeks and at this point, I'm not sure how to proceed. My OG mocks are
Mock 1 (Oct 21: Q47 V44, 740)
Mock 2 (Oct 28: Q45 V44, 720)
Mock 3 (Nov 15: Q49 V46, 760)
Mock 4 (Today Nov 24: Q46, V41, 710)
I did some other mocks from manhattan prep but honestly, I found them to be pretty inaccurate/pointless

HOW am I doing even worse now than I was a month ago???? I have put so much into quant in the past 2 weeks and it seems like it was all for nothing. And since I was emphasizing quant over verbal, of course, verbal dipped
Today was my first time using the marker and laminated sheets but it didn't feel any different and shouldn't account for a 50 point drop.

I'm not sure what should be my game-plan for the next couple of weeks now that 750+ seems even farther away.

First off, don't worry too much about this one off mock. Everyone has those days when things don't go as planned, and it's totally normal. The key is to analyze each mistake thoroughly. Ask yourself: was it a timing issue or a conceptual gap? Once you identify the root cause, work on addressing it.

For the next two weeks, focus on revising all your concepts and go through your error log to brush up on the areas you've missed before. Then, take another mock to see how you've improved. But remember to relax a bit too; staying calm is crucial. With your previous scores, you're definitely on the right track. Stay confident, and you're likely to hit your target score. Good luck!

Thank you! I have calmed down and talked myself off the ledge since I made this post. In hindsight I should have postponed today’s mock. I took melatonin for the first time yesterday and was absolutely shattered. I also accidentally used my verbal pacing for quant and rushed for no reason.

I have been through my wrong answers and there were some silly mistakes. Hopefully things that I shouldn’t repeat at full capacity. Let’s see how the next one goes.

Hi iceiceevie,

I don't necessarily think you are doing worse than you were a month ago. Rather, it's possible you just had a bad day! From what I can see, you are in a great spot for your GMAT, so do not stress yourself out.
