If b and c are the price of the bottle and the cork. we have to find out c.
Statement 1: The combined price of the bottle and the cork is 95 cents.
b+c = 95
Clearly insufficient
Statement 2:
b = c + 75
Insufficient.
Combining 1) and 2), we can find out both b and c. Hence C) should be the answer

(1) The combined price of the bottle and the cork is 95 cents -->x+y=95....insufficient
(2) The price of the bottle is 75 cents more than the price of the cork -->x-y=75.....insufficient
1+2 -->x=85 and y=10.....sufficient
Ans. C)
