For any positive number n, the function #n represents the value of the number n rounded to the nearest integer. If k is a positive number, what is the units digit of #k?

(1) #(10k) = 10k

(2) #(100k) is 10300.

For any positive number n, the function #n represents the value of the number n rounded to the nearest integer. If k is a positive number, what is the units digit of #k?

(1) #(10k) = 10k
We do not know the value of k..
For example
If k is 20.9 #(10*20.9)=209=10*20.9.... Units digit of #k or 21 is 1 OR
k is 209 #(10*209)=2090=209*10.... Units digit of #k or 209 is 9
Insuff

(2) #(100k) is 10300.
so k has to be between 102.995 to 103.005, with 103.005 exclusive...
In all case #(k)will be 103...
Hence units digit will be 3 always
Suff
