For the sequence of numbers \(a_1, \ a_2, \ a_3, \ … a_n, \ …,\) each term after the first is created by multiplying the previous term by a constant c and adding another constant k. What is the value of \(a_9\) ?
(1) \(\frac{a_4}{a_2} = 10\)
(2) \(a_1= k = c\)
(1) \(\frac{a_4}{a_2} = 10\)

Combining (1) and (2) to test C option I have two different values for a_1, -3 and 3 so we have two different sequences:
-3, 6, -21, 60, -183, 546, -1641, 4920, -14763
3, 12, 39, 120, 363, 1092, 3279, 9840, 29523
As -14763 is not equal to 29523 I think OA should be E.
