I've got a bunch of renovations that I need to do. But I won't be able to get to them until I get all my applications in this year. I'm hoping our local market is looking a little better next year.

hahaha, that's funny.

Just met with my realtor today. Move out this weekend, next week is painting, cleaning, and re-carpeting. Hopefully list by the week after... Two of 5 places sold in our complex for an ok price in the past 2 weeks, so I'm happy to see that.

My place is rented out. Has been for the past 5 years now :). Remortgage due this Summer, so will go for an interest only to give myself some extra $$$ while i'm a poor student.

yeah, unfortunately with the situation in the US right now, interest only loans are probably a no-no for the banks... and the rent won't cover the mortgage of my place, which I bought 5 years ago at a price roughly 60% cheaper than today's rates... so selling will give me more options in terms of getting student loans and paying living expenses... :)

Our house has been listed for almost a week now and we have had it shown several times, hopefully it moves quickly. Its pretty much the only thing still stressing us out at this point.

If you're getting good traffic - you should be in good shape. I was pulling my hair out over renting my condo, then finally got a bite (after showing it about 8 times). Just in the nick of time too - only 9 days till I'm outta here.

ive had very good luck finding a tenant with craigslist... only took a couple days for two people to offer

performing a credit/references check has been the more painful part
