For which of the following x is |x|+x >0?

A. 2
B. -8
C. -6
D. -7
E. -4

Only positive value works here.

|x| is always positive but only x is negative for negative value. So, ultimate result is 0.

The best answer is A.

For x > 0 this equation is always positive
For x < 0 this equation is always zero
So only answer greater than zero is 2

Substitute the answer values for x
2+2 >0
8-8 =0
6-6 =0
7-7 =0
4-4 =0
therefore answer is option A
