nope, but would be interested if they come around the SF area.

They just happen to be going there Sept 26. Here's the link to their site.

Yeah I probably should mention that they are a foundation for women in business. So it would be ideal to be a woman in order to attend the forums.

That's funny! On a serious note, does it really make it easier? Not sure if there was a discussion on this earlier.

I've been told that as a women with a good GMAT score that admissions will be easier. Possibly not for the top 5 schools, but other schools yes. I don't know how much I can trust what I heard either though. But yes I think being a woman will help me get admission to schools because women are under represented. Some schools more so than others.

I remember reading a blog of this lady who got into Stanford, Wharton, Harvard, and 2 other very good schools, and was debating which one she wants to go to... I think her blog is listed in ClearAdmit or Accepted.com.

She didn't post a detailed profile, but while she's quite accomplished, I don't know if she could have gotten in by doing all her essays in a matter of 2-3 weeks (for all 4-6 schools she applied to) and with what I know of her profile if she were Male/Indian/IT...

Not to offend any ladies here on the board, but I think a school wants a good "diverse" class, and if there are 100 Male/Indian/IT people applying, and 10 qualified women, and the school wants roughly 5 of each... you do the math ;)
