I am planning to go for a Masters in France (2022 intake). and I am in a dilemma with regards to which program to choose. The programs are the following:
HEC Paris: MiM or MIF
ESSEC: MIM or MIF
FOr my career aspirations, I would like to work in France in the Finance industry (100% sure), so the obvious choice is to go for the MIF (which is the program I want to pursue as I know I want to do finance, and because the MIF costs half, and is just 1 year). The issue is that I hear the MIM are the flagship programs of these schools, and this worries me because I am afraid after graduating, I won't have the same opportunities as MiM graduates, especially that I want to work and live in France (very fluent French speaker BTW), and we all know the French Elitism crap, and how they discriminate between degrees.
My question is for anyone who did one of these programs, or someone who know the story of students from these programs:
Are the MIF chances of getting a good job in France equal to those of MiM? if not, how significant the difference?
Thank you guys.
