Fran’s Furniture produces upholstered chairs. The price of fabrics chosen will affect the cost of manufacturing each chair. Customers can choose a solid fabric, a patterned fabric, or leather, each at a different price. Based on market research, Fran’s expects the greatest demand to be for the patterned fabric, so the company wants to keep chairs upholstered in the patterned fabric in stock for immediate shipment, while the solid and leather options can be special orders. The sales department forecasts that the number of patterned chairs sold will be 45% of total sales and will exceed the number of leather chairs by 200. If Fran’s sells 800 upholstered chairs in a year, find the number of chairs with solid upholstery and the number of leather chairs the sales department expects to sell.

So PC = 160 Solid=800-160-360 = 280
