Re: Frequency of GMAT questions [#permalink]
In addition to Vercules' comments - Magoosh put together a really impressive article on the frequency of GMAT Quant concepts. They went through a number of tests and kept track of the types of questions they saw and put together a breakdown.

While it would certainly benefit you to go over all of the basics, this gives you an idea of the types of questions they encountered the most over the course of a few tests.

Re: Frequency of GMAT questions [#permalink]
this is great !!!

thank you so much for this Ryan !

Another question that I was wondering was:

Well, I'm gonna take the diagnostic tomorrow. So after that, should I focus my studies on the concepts I missed or should I study all the books of MGMAT and start with the first ?

Thank you very much for your advice,

Julien

Happy to help!

The first time I went through the MGMAT guides, I felt like I made some progress but not nearly as much as I did after Total GMAT Math and then the MGMAT Guides, but that's different for everyone- I see plenty of people who can jump right into the MGMAT guides. You may be able to sit down and, right away, take a lot away from the MGMAT guides as they're a great resource. I'd recommend starting with the books and working on the problems from there. If your plan is to go through all of the MGMAT books anyway - what good is a diagnostic right now? You're better off going through your books and then working on the problems. Once you do that, you'll be able to see which problems are still hazy after going through your book set and hone those through re-review.
