My first time taking the GMAT I scored a 570. I was happy with the results but wanted to do better, so before I took the test a second time I took a 8 week long Kaplan prep course. But somehow I managed to score 30 points lower and got a 540. I don't know what I did wrong. I really thought I would do better because I took a professional prep course instead of studying on my own. Since my most recent GMAT attempt I've been incredibly depressed. If anyone has any useful tips or suggestions, I'd appreciate it alot. And if anyone wants to share their story of how they bombed then improved I'd appreciate it too.
