Hi all,
I just tried a test for the first time [
MGMAT CAT] and got a 690 (q43, v40). I got a bit lucky on quant - guessed 4 of them and got 2 correct so I guess my range is probably anywhere between 650-690?
I haven't studied anything except going through the Math Foundation book for the past week or so. Never practiced any questions and feel quite lost on quant. I didn't know much about the verbal on the GMAT but given my verbal score, I am not going to focus much on it (am I correct in doing this?)
This is what I was planning for the next 10 weeks before my exam:
Week 1-5: Go through the
MGMAT quant study guides.
Week 6: Go through the
MGMAT verbal study guides.
Week 7: OG12/13 practice questions timed and untimed to drill down on concepts + GMAT Prep Test 1
Week 8: More OG12/13 practice questions +
MGMAT CAT Test 2, 3, 4
Week 9: Study any quant concepts that are still giving me trouble +
MGMAT CAT Test 5, 6 + GMAT Prep Test 2
Week 10: More practice questions? Retake GMAT Prep test?
Does this make sense?
What I am mainly looking for is reassurance that I can get my quant up to 46-47 in this timeframe? It's really worrying me, I did not feel confident at all during the test. I think my verbal is OK, maybe I can get it up to 41-42 after I read about it since I had no idea what to expect.
thanks in advance
