Ok so back in November I got a 650(q41, v39). My target school was (and still is) NYU Stern pt, so I figured I should try again in a few months to raise my score. Because of work and personal issues I didn't get a chance to study again until June. In the middle of July I took the second GMATprep test and got a 690(q44,v40), and later that week I also got a 690 on my
Manhattan GMAT test. I felt confident that if i studied for another few weeks I would be able to break the 700 barrier. Unfortunately on the test day I woke up with a headache. I had a hard time with some of the quant because of the headache but at the end of the section i felt like i did pretty well. Knowing that I did pretty well on my verbal, I decided to accept my score. In my mind there was NO WAY i did worse than my last attempt. Unfortunately, I saw the message that I got a 650 q32(!!!) and v42. I would still like to go to Stern pt, so I ask you, members of the GMATCLUB community who I've trusted throughout my GMAT studying experience, should I re-take the GMAT a 3rd time or try my luck with NYU?
note: nyu pt gmat avg is 675, mid 80% range is 610-730
thanks guys/gals
