gmatclub is awesome... everyone I've met from here so far have been amazing human beings, very bright (at Anderson Days, Days at Haas, and Day at Kellogg), and very fun to hang out with.

As for the top X schools thing, I find myself having to explain Haas and Kellogg as "Top 10" and "Top 5" to people who have no idea how good they are. Generally I just say "one of the top programs" though. :wink:

Well, one good thing about the schools I got into is that I don't even need to explain: everybody knows MIT (specially now with the 21 movie, hehehe), and everybody knows the Chicago.

I agree with the statemet that people in general refer to a TOP X, depending on where they got into. Those who got into Chicago GSB can say though: "I got into the best business school in the Universe" 8-) :lol:

We'll be listening to it for 2 years and we may end up believing...

Actually you can say you got into the school where Richard Tabor Greene taught at....

I saw this thread river, but I couldn't still find anything that proves it. If it's true, we may have the answer why in the 90´s GSB did so badly in the rankings :lol:

Don't take me wrong those who are not going to GSB, my joke is because Ted Snyder always start the chats and everything related to GSB saying that it is the best B-school in the universe.
