I'm going to use my made up "1 tangent rule." I've been reading up at AF. And yea, any question is almost always followed by more sarcastic responses than genuine ones. Also, the entire site, as informative as it may be is quite disorganized.

gmatclub is awesome... everyone I've met from here so far have been amazing human beings, very bright (at Anderson Days, Days at Haas, and Day at Kellogg), and very fun to hang out with.
As for the top X schools thing, I find myself having to explain Haas and Kellogg as "Top 10" and "Top 5" to people who have no idea how good they are. Generally I just say "one of the top programs" though.

Well, one good thing about the schools I got into is that I don't even need to explain: everybody knows MIT (specially now with the 21 movie, hehehe), and everybody knows the Chicago.
I agree with the statemet that people in general refer to a TOP X, depending on where they got into. Those who got into Chicago GSB can say though: "I got into the best business school in the Universe"
We'll be listening to it for 2 years and we may end up believing...
