I took the Kaplan course and just started to study hard over the past few weekends. My test date is next Monday and based on my Kaplan CATs (560, 520, 520), I just don't feel I've made enough progress.
I have couple more CATs and the PPs to work on but this is getting frustrating.
(btw, I took the CAT at a Prometric site)
I understand from my instructor and many of the post here that the Kaplan material is *harder* than the real thing. However, I have a hard time believing that I am going to hit my target at this rate.
Sigh...just venting

My max score EVER on kaplan = 590
My real GMAT score = 710
lesson : never judge your real performance from your practise scores.
There is no prep course or practise test (the closest is powerprep) that can tell how you are going to do. How you prep is the most important.
Please read through the posts in the forum. you will find a lot of useful info. You may also want to read the GMAT section on our blog.
I will try to see if i can find one of my posts on this very issue of practise tests.
