Vanderbilt scoops leading faculty

Vanderbilt University’s Owen school of business is ramping up its faculty with a number of appointments from Wharton, Rochester, Berkeley and Brigham Young.
First, Dawn Iacobucci, who spent the last three years at the Wharton school at the University of Pennsylvania, will be Vanderbilt’s first Ingram Professor of Marketing. Prior to working at Wharton she was a marketing professor at the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, having previously received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Steven Posavac will also join the marketing team as an associate professor. He was most recently associate dean at Rochester University and specialises in the field of consumer judgement and decision processes, including advertising. Prof Posavac received his PhD from the University of Utah.
