question on filling out the application on full-time employment. this asks us for a bunch of questions on job responsibilities, greatest challenge and accomplishment. is there a certain way to approach these? why are these here and not a part of essays? also, we need to upload a resume. are we supposed to not have the content we type in overlap with info in the resume? for example, the application asks for primary job responsibilities. should we make sure not to have that description overlap with descriptions in our resume?

thanks!

I grappled with these thoughts as well. I think there is only so much that you can NOT overlap. For example, if your greatest work challenge deserves an essay, then it definitely deserves to be written in the full time employment section.
Again, there will be certain overlaps between essays and resume. However, I tried to focus on my behaviour, leaderhship qualities, team dynamics in the essay and in the resume, I went ahead and focused on the final achievement and revenue/profit figures.
Again, I mentioned a whole lot achievements in my resume and essays probably covered two or three of them.

Just my 2 cents.
