Hi,
I'm 26 yrs old and from Sweden with a MSc-degree. I had never seen the GMAT test until two days ago, but decided to sign up for the test on 3 December, as I've began to consider an MBA. I had no idea that people spend so much time preparing for the test. In the country where I'm from, people usually take standardized tests without a lot of preparation, and this is the general approach I had when signing up. Anyway, I decided to do the Kaplan Practice Test last night and scored 700. This was without any previous experience of these types of questions. I found the quantitative part to be very easy with my MSc-background, and only had one mistake. The verbal part was more challenging, considering that English isn't my mother tounge.
Now, finally to my question.. Do you guys think I could make improvements on this score by preparing, or should I just relax and take the test on the 3rd without any further preparations? Any recommendations on good ways to improve from 700 to 750+? My goal is to have "all doors open" when applying to different business schools.
