Hi everyone,
My GMAT day is finally approaching and I will be taking the test on the 25th of March. So far I was scoring 700-710 and would be happy to get that score (perhaps a little better too
). My best quant score was 49 while my best verbal score was 39 on the GMAT prep.
One thing I noticed, however, is that I kind of struggle with 700-level quant questions that are on this forum. Very often I feel that they are unrealistically hard for GMAT or take too long to complete. Now I feel a little nervous seeing there are some problems that I do not even know how to start solving plus it appears that most 700-questions focus on very similar type of problems. It would be really nice to get 49 on quant because then I am sure I would reach my goal - 700+.
Has anyone else been in these kind of shoes before? I took days off from work until 26th so basically I will be stuDYING until the 24th. My plan is to work on both sections while focusing on quant 700-level questions.

Good job on your prep so far. It can be concerning to encounter tough questions near the end of you preparation. The questions on this forum tend to be the toughest of the tough so don't worry about getting them wrong. Use them as learning tools to fill in those last few content gaps. That said in these last ten days I would focus mostly on Official GMAT Questions: Take your last GMATprep CATs, GMAT Focus (1-3), work through all of the hard questions from Question Pack 1, work through your error log, and revisit tough questions from the Official Guide. Use this time to consolidate the knowledge that you have rather than adding new knowledge. One thing that my students have found helpful is to make a formula/strategy sheet. Basically writing down everything that you are trying to remember.
Considering where you are already scoring you know enough GMAT Quant to get your score. You just need to apply what you know. It's also important to have your timing down. Here is an article on strategies for the GMAT CAT. Maybe it helps. Let me know if you have any questions!
