Hello everyone,
I am having an embarrassing issue of buckling down and studying required concepts. I have my test coming up on Monday and I already know that I am not going to get the score I want and I am planning to develop a better study plan for my next attempt. Simply going through problems is throwing me into depression and I am considering changing my attitude and approach as I don't think I can accomplish 700+ using the standard approach.
Before I try to create some sort of gamification system of my own, anyone aware of a good platform that could assist me?

Hi Amoner,
You seem to understand that some aspects of your studies have been ineffective so far. That is an important step to ultimately finding the resources that will help you to improve and making the necessary adjustments to how you study. Before I can offer any advice, I'd like to know a bit more about how you've studied so far:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
Since it's too late to reschedule your current Test Date, you should plan to learn everything that you can about THAT experience (since you'll be going through it again). There are always a number of 'factors' on Test Day that are tough to simulate unless you already know what they are. By taking this GMAT, you should be able to use your new knowledge of Test Day to better prepare for your next attempt.

I have worked with several students in your same situation - people looking for ways to "spice up" their study and stay motivated. We frequently talk about changing the narrative of GMAT study. Instead of feeling like you are getting beaten down by the test, you need to turn yourself into the aggressor - imagine yourself as the hunter and the GMAT is your prey or you are the prosecutor and the GMAT is on trial. Celebrate when you successfully "attack" the GMAT by getting a tough problem correct or learning a difficult concept.
As far as actual gamification goes, there are some nice articles out with advice on how to gamifying your study - check this one out: https://www.oxford-royale.co.uk/article ... udies.html.
I've also found that people have really benefitted by forming a study group. Having the group feedback can be very helpful for motivation.
