Let \(L = 4\) & \(B = 2\)(A) 1 : 4
(B) 1 : 2
(C) 2 : 1
(D) 4 : 1
(E) 8 : 1
So, Original Area is \(8\)
Now when Length and Breadth are halved, Area will be \(2*1 = 2\)
Thus, Ratio of Areas will be \(8 : 2 = 4 : 1\), Answer must be (D)

Ignore the numbers 225 and 180. They are given as distraction.
Area of Garden A= L*B
Area of garden B = \(\frac{L}{2}*\frac{B}{2}\)
Ratio of Area = \(L*B:\frac{L}{2}*\frac{B}{2}(\) = 4:1
Ratio of Area = 4:1 (option D)
Area of Garden A= L*B
Area of garden B = \(\frac{L}{2}*\frac{B}{2}\)
Ratio of Area = \(L*B:\frac{L}{2}*\frac{B}{2}(\) = 4:1
Ratio of Area = 4:1 (option D)
