Hi I started preparing for GMAT focus about 3 months back and got the following scores in official practice mocks. Exam 1 and 2 were before starting prep and 3 and 4 were given after prep was done. Only mentioning first tries of each of these mocks.

Experience at test center-
- Normally I had practiced for the exam wearing a sweater and a jacket at home but at the center, heating was present and i took off my jacket. Did not take off my sweater, which made me feel very hot during first section (verbal), and i think that caused the 2 point score drop. Eventually took the sweater also off after this section.
- I was also very anxious as I had travelled around 150 Kms just to give this test.
- Scratchpad was fine but it was just that the pen had to be closed off while i was thinking or it would dry up.
- During the second section (DI), I got stuck on one question for around 8 mins, which made me mess-up a lot of questions in hurry. I'm not sure how this happened as I always move ahead in case I can't figure out a question in 2 minutes. But I think in this question I had some extra time (from the previous questions), and that made me take it as a challenge. Overall 3-4 points lost in this section as well.
- In quant, I got stuck on the very first question, but my experience in DI influenced me here as after 2 minutes had gone by, I quickly marked 1 wrong answer and moved ahead to come back later. I was very confident as I completed this section in around 30 minutes and also had revised each question once after that just to be sure all of them were right. But still in the test report I see I got 3 of them wrong (along with the first question which I had corrected later), again not very sure how.
- Now my question to everyone here is that how can I improve myself to get around 695-705 on the test? My post MBA goal for now is PM at a tech firm and I want to get in a T20 program with good scholarship. I'm a male Indian engineer.
- Should I switch to the online version to give the exam in the comfort of my home. Have to buy a whiteboard and practice on that though. Also, I'm not sure what challenges will be present here.
- How can I be less anxious on test day (practice doesn't help) ?
- Should I work on improving my verbal? I feel the efforts I do in practicing these doesn't actually help me. Any good resource for this?
