Hi Rich,
First of all thanks for your suggestion. I was too in double minds regarding rescheduling my test date. However from mid October to November I am a little tied down due to personal commitments. Hence I would not really have time to do regular studying. The only option pretty much is to give the exam on 15 October and if I don't get a desired score, maybe repeat it sometime in December.
Regarding my full length CATS, I have never written the essay but I have always given the IR section. On the practice test that I gave, I ended up with a IR score of 4 without much studying for that section.

Hi AjiteshArun,
Thanks for taking time to get back to me. These should answer your question:
1. SC: 35 (73%)
CR: 31 (57%)
RC: 23 (34%)
2. I do face some issues with CR but I am trying to work on that. RC on the test did stump me a little bit because of how uninteresting the material was. I found RC on the test to be more difficult than the ones in OG 13.
3. I was able to finish Quant within time leaving about 10 seconds in the end and ended up guessing on the last question. For Verbal I finished 6 minutes ahead of time. I think I was too tired by the end of the test and wanted to get over it as soon as possible.
4. I was not able to concentrate mid way in the verbal section.
5. Because of faltering concentration I did mess up on few of CR's and SC's too.

Not being able to concentrate or feeling tired by the middle of the verbal section looks like low hanging fruit to me. So taking full length tests is going to be extremely important. That RC score has to go up.

Hi, following your advice, I gave a full length test yesterday. I gave the test 3 on GMATPrep exam pack 1. Gave all the sections as per the rules and took two optional breaks in between of about 7 minutes each. Scored a 640. Here's the breakup:
1. IR: 5
2. Quant: 48
I had no time in the end to do around 6 questions. My bad coz I spent too much time on particular questions (30th AND 31st). Still haven't figured how but I ended up miscalculating the time I could devote to other questions. Upon analysing I found that most of my questions till the 30th had a good accuracy. However I got all the questions from 32nd to 36th wrong. This is too bad because upon reviewing I found out that I knew how to solve all of them. Lesson learnt from this is to not fret on a question for too long.
3. Verbal: 30
RC:38 (80%)
SC: 30 (57%)
CR: 24 (37%)
I improved a lot on RC since last time but somehow managed to get owned in CR and SC. Will work on keeping my focus in tact till the end.

WOuld be thankful if my questions could be answered:
a. Is it true that the average difficulty level of the exam packs is more than difficulty level of the default pack? I found some quant questions and CR a level higher than on default pack.
b. Is it a good idea to give another test (test 4 from gmat prep exam pack) on Monday considering my exam is on Wednesday?
c. How long should i take on deciding whether to leave a particular question on quant? I don't want to mess up my timings on the test date.
d. On the test date will the result show a break up of how i have performed in the three verbal sections?
