Please advice -

1. How should I approach each question - while giving mock tests. Should I always try to answer the question in less than 2 mins? I checked my results and saw in some questions of SC and CR, I am taking 3 to 4 to 5 mins.

2. In general i want to utilize my mock tests to develop strategy for GMAT exam. As to - what is working for me. e.g. - When to make a guess and move on? How to approach RC - reading the whole passage, skimming? Developing strategies for SC, working with splits, quickly choosing answers etc

3. In my last mock test - I was left with very less time in the end and skipped an entire RC passage and guessed some other questions quickly - rather than making educated guesses.

4. I get stressed out - if I am lagging on time (towards the end) or if I did not do well in IR.

1. Aim for <2 minutes -- that's average -- but for more diffficult questions -- it's perfectly fine for 3 or even 4 minutes. 5 minutes is probably too long. You should be able to do some easy ones in < 1 minute -- this is an area that we specialize in, especially for SC questions.

2. If you would like slow motion walk-through of RC -- you may find this helpful: https://www.gmatpill.com/practicequestio ... tions.html

3. Look at the link in #2 above and you won't have this issue.

4. Think of this test as a marathon -- mental endurance is important. Do not let IR affect your performance on the main show of quant and verbal. Maintain the focus even after a bad IR performance.
