HI
Businessconquerer ..
Many congratulations for getting 3 admits
. To answer your question, you need to ask yourself - why you applied to these schools and which school will be best for you without thinking about the Money. Make your priority list by comparing strength of the schools with your future goals and opportunities, alumni network, etc, etc. ... Great!! You made the list and I am sure MSB will be on the top
Let's get to the Money topic - I am sure you were already aware of the tuition fee + other expenses involved in top MBA. I can roughly estimate that most of the students take a loan either from Banks or private institutions especially for 2 year US MBA programs because the savings of students (considering young age, few years of experience) would be not so much that they can pay off everything by their own.
It is better to pay more for MBA from a reputed school rather than to pay less for MBA from a low ranked school. We do MBA once (some Indians do twice
, but mostly from Europe) and we must try to do from a prestigious one. I can understand that INR 1.5 crore is a huge amount and the fear of not getting a job in US after MBA. You need to take a risk.
Make a wise and calculative decision from right now - Connect with Indian Alumni. Get the data how many got employed, in how many months, etc. What's their feedback on MSB. Keep both ambitious and safe goals. Are there alumni with similar background and post MBA goal like yours ? Ask them questions - how did they got the job, which treks, clubs, networking events they joined. In short, I am asking you to do the task which you have to do in future to create a network and secure a job.
Believe in yourself
All the very Best.
Note: I have created a poll to let other users to quickly suggest you.Businessconquerer
Hey guys,
I just want to know
have been admitted to MSB, a top 20 and prestigious one.
And then there's the other two that have given me scholarships.
McMaster will cost me nearly 31-39 Lacs INR
Katz Will cost around 30 Lacs INR
MSB will cost me 1.5 crore INR
I cannot afford anything
But my question is
Is taking a huge debt right for MSB?
