Hi. Congratulations on your admits and great to hear your scored scholarships.
For basically any business school with fewer than 150 students in a class and usually ranked lower than top 20 or 25, which both of these happen to be, you cannot count on any kind of on-campus, recruiting or placement. There is no concept of a placement for any business school, including Harvard. You don’t get placed anywhere. Perhaps you meant recruiting instead. The best you can count on is employers coming on campus and offering interviews to a certain number of students. That is not going to happen a whole lot at either of these programs, but I think you have better chances at Carlson since the program is a bit bigger, and better known and locally strong - your will have a bit more of an influence on the local job market and don’t have to compete with other local business schools …
I think it’s great to get a scholarship and a full ride. Can’t beat that.
PS. What may be more helpful than the business school is having a local Netwerk or family in the area. And knowing people will help quite a bit. So if you have a family or network in Atlanta, for example, I would prioritize that.
