13 pairs of matched gloves = 26 individual gloves.
If she loses 9 individual gloves, she'll be left with 17 individual gloves out of which we can have maximum of 8 pairs of matched gloves (+ 1 individual glove).

So, there will be a maximum of 8 pairs...
Answer will be (B) 8
