Hi to all members of GMAT-Club,
Until yesterday I never heard of the GMAT-Test. I graduated from School this summer with not a good result (made it with 3,4 in Germany you would fail with a mark of 4,1). Now I want to study economics, what is hardly possible with that result.
But, yesterday everything changed. On the webpage of the university of St.Gallen (Switzerland), I found out, that they would take me, if I only get a score of 680 in the Gmat-test.
Now I'm absolutly willing to make it. I ordered the Kaplan 2006 and the "Princeton - cracking the Gmat" book. I have enough time to prepare. 2-3 months are no problem (but I work 50 hours a week, so I can't learn more than 2-3 hours a day).
My problem could be the english language. I would say that my english is good, but far away from native speaking. That'll make it harder.
I just wanted to say hello and tell my story. I'm sure that a board like this can help me. Not the board itself, but the nice people posting in it. ( I read a bit already)
I would be very thankful for tips. Perhaps there are germans here or you know some guys that did it in the foreign language english. Perhaps you could rate my english skills after reading this post and also assess my chances.
Thank you
I will be an active member of this board for the next months, if you like it or not
