Interesting. What's the objective? Seems like they want to assess their test w.r.t actual GMAT.

Is it only a test or does the test taker also need to provide some more information relevant to the actual test? Ofcourse I do not mean the actual questions? :-)

Just to clarify - you want the person to take the practice CAT test within 7 days of taking the GMAT (before or after) but you will have the opportunity to do that for a few weeks, correct? (meaning if I take the GMAT in 2 weeks from now, I can take the CAT in a week or 10 days from now).

In my opinion, it is a great opportunity to make the GMAT cost $150 vs $250.
If you were thinking/waiting/planning to take the test in a month or later on, you may want to set the date in a few weeks and get the $100 rebate.
(By the way, what is the means of refunding? paypal?)

Yeh this seems like a great way to subsidise the cost of my exam. Anyway how do they choose participants? I'm taking the exam next week and would like to know if I can take part.

Thanks for the questions.

Yes, you can sign up today if you are taking the test in, say, a month. And I will contact you a week before your scheduled exam to say that you have two weeks to take our CAT (one before test and one week after).

No one will get paid without producing a score report from the actual GMAT.

We can mail people a check. There will be no "refund" as we are not affiliated with the actual GMAT. Though, yes, it is a nice way to get paid to study for the exam.

For those who take our test after taking the actual GMAT (and yes we want you folks too), we want to make sure you are incentivized -- so if your score on our tests is not within 120 points of your actual score you will not get paid.

I have tried to give Knewton GMAT exam in order to get 100$ off(I had exam on 04.07.2010), but couldn't begin the exam.
