I'm aiming for a score around 700. I've been having a lot of trouble with quant though, and after months, I'm still not there.
I'm practicing the 600-level and 700 -level questions but I'm only getting about 50% of them right.
I took coaching as well and practiced numerous questions and did some mock as well but I am scoring around 500 only .
Hi MittalTrishla,
To start, you will likely receive more of a response if you start your own post-thread (instead of piggy-backing on this one). In addition, many GMATers become too fixated on the 'implied level' of the questions that they're working on - instead of what really matters: defining WHY they're getting questions wrong and becoming more efficient at approaching the overall Exam. It's also worth noting that just because a 3rd party describes a question as "700 level" does not necessarily make it so.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, in that post, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied in total? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
