Thank you so much!!!! This is really helpful! I actually was sort of looking for the analyst role thing but didn’t know how to say it. You saved my day. Thanks!

Btw, I did some research and came across this interesting role known as Quantitative Researcher. It really intrigued me. I was wondering if I could say that I want to be a quantitative researcher after graduating from the given school. Do you think it’s okay to say that, given that my undergrad degree is in finance (tho, I’m not known to computer science)?

Well it is fine to showcase your long term goal as becoming a quantitative researcher. But remember you would need to justify the motivations and action plan for the same in your essay, so dig a bit deeper into this and think if this is something you will be able to back up via your motivations and prior experiences.
