I have to agree with jordanhendrix here. Cornell is a great school. But it's hard to judge if you will get in based solely on numbers alone. Your GPA is obviously good but I don't know the reputation of ASU's undergrad. Your work experience is near the 'average' for a lot of bschools but what really matters is what you've accomplished at work. Its quality over quantity. As far as the GMAT score goes, no one is guaranteed acceptance to any good bschool, even with a 750+. I've heard of people who got dinged at Cornell with a 770 but accepted at Harvard. There's no sure thing. To mitigate your worry, retake the GMAT if you have the time.

Bet you can get in if you have other parts of your app in good shape. You have to understand how schools use GMAT scores. There are 2 stages of selection. Stage 1 - getting accepted & Stage 2 - Scholarship

Stage 1
GMAT in stage one has no meaning, except that you should not be pulling down the school average by a big number. Take it as 3 options to go on your application file (actually 4). Lets say -1, 0,+1 & Q

-1 ....... standard application (nothing cracking) with low GMAT (weighing on the school average)
0 ........... neutral GMAT
+1 ............ good score
Q .............. low score but other awesome app

Stage 2

They only want to offer $$$'s to people who they want in their school. We are leaving exceptionally cracking applications out of this. Who do they want in their program from the standard pool ? Who will bring up their GPA and GMAT average. They are buying your application so that they can use ur GPA and GMAT to calc their year end numbers.

Good luck !
