Hi All!
I attempted the GMAT twice. Once in June and once in August. And bombed both the attempts. Attempt 1 (360) Attempt 2 (320). The small gap between the two attempts was because of the program i was targeting (YLP-ISB). I started preparing a month in advance on my own and screwed up bad on the first attempt. For the second attempt, I joined a GMAT class (Jamboree) and screwed up on that too.
For the first attempt, I gave it all i had. My term break was on so I would put in 5-7 hours daily.
Preparation for the second attempt was difficult as i was juggling between college and GMAT class.
I referred to the following set of books:
(ATTEMPT 1)
OG 13
GMAT Quantitative Review 2nd edition
GMAT Verbal Review 2nd edition
(ATTEMPT 2)
OG 13
GMAT class Material and handouts.
I have decided to give GMAT again. But this time I have a bigger time frame. Of about 5 months and I hope to achieve a score of 700+ in this third attempt.
I have taken the diagnostic test and I am below average in both quant as well as verbal. And I can't understand how to start my prep.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
