Hello everybody!
First of all I hope I found the right place to discuss important issues and questions regarding the GMAT.
I am a freshman, if I may say so, and I am a 'new-taker' of GMAT.
This forum is so large and vast that I had to start a new topic.
My first question is. What is enough? How can I know that I have sufficient material for the preparation?
I purchased the Mangoosh GMAT prep. guide and the PRINCETON REVIEW- Cracking the GMAT 2014.
Does anybody have a clue if I have enough to start with the prep of the GMAT?
I would really appreciate your answers.

I'm happy to respond.
This is Mike McGarry, the voice of the majority of the lessons in Magoosh. Here's what I can say. Many many people have used Magoosh as their only prep source and have achieved elite scores. This online source plus a book is certainly enough material. I will recommend this review:

I will say, though, I am suspicious of that question, "what is enough?" A focus on "enough" is tantamount to a focus on the "bare minimum" for studying: anyone with that focus is not going to achieve their highest potential. To achieve an excellent score requires considerably more than a complete package of material---it requires an attitude of excellence and embodying the habits of excellence. You see, if you want to achieve excellence on the day of your GMAT, you need to practice excellence as a skill in every facet of your life. Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.
I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores; during that time, it's common to 'add' study resources as needed. As such, there's really no way to know up-front whether you have 'enough' materials or not to help you hit your score goal.
