What is the time breakdown of the GMAT.
By this, I do not mean how long each section is or how long my breaks are.
I mean, how much time do I have between (for this assume I am doing first Quant, then Verbal, then IR, then AWA):
1) The beginning of the exam when I am allowed to start writing on my whiteboard and the start of the timer for Quant
2) The end of the first break when I am allowed to start writing on my whiteboard and the start of the timer for Verbal
3) The end of the second break when I am allowed to start writing on my whiteboard and the start of the timer for IR
4) The end of the IR and the start of the timer for AWA
Thanks!
Hi
hassan233,
If I remember correctly, test takers can take
up to a minute on the section order selection screen and
up to half a minute on each section instructions screen. So you could write something on your noteboard before, for example, the quantitative and verbal sections. Be careful though, because, as far as I know,
this is technically not allowed. Some test takers check with their proctors before setting their noteboards up during the instructions, but, even then, it's not as if proctors have the final say, and you'd be taking a risk if you were to do something similar.
