Hello Everyone,
I gave Official Practice exam 1 scoring 545, Q81 V80 DI70 today.
During the test, I observed that i missed most questions at the end maybe due to time pressure or sticking to one question in the end. This was visible in all 3 sections.
In quant, I try to use shortcuts or mental maths while practicing but in test i couldn't make them work for me.
I also made silly mistake in question where basic percent change formula was to be applied. Struggled with approximation of nos. Reading mistake and ofc got overwhelmed and made mistakes in last 2 questions. I didn't find any conceptual gap except for P&C.
In Verbal, there were 3 RCs (3,4,3 questions each). I got 3 inferred questions wrong(1 due to time and somehow after the 1st para couldn't connect the dots had to read again). Rest wrong answers were either due to time or getting stuck in 2 options.(2 Mistake in plan/construct and analysis/critique section)
Wasted time in DI- Two part analysis questions and got the answer wrong. Couldn't wrap my head around the question. Missed on some cues leading to silly mistakes. Mistakes in DS, Graphs&tables, two part analysis.
Can anyone support me with practical steps which I can take to improve my score. I have around 2 months for preparation and i need to get the highest score possible.
I am also a working professional so can dedicate 2-3 hours on weekdays and max on weekends.
I am solving the questions again to find out how i could have done better. Any other feedback from your side will be highly appreciated.

Iam kind of in the same exact situation, please someone help, I have my exam scheduled on 30 July. Aiming for 705.

So, the good news is that you are in a pretty nice spot!
That said, you must continue to find your holes and fix them to improve your score. Topical practice is a great way to do that.
For example, let’s say that you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.
After each problem set, thoroughly analyze your incorrect questions. For example, if you got a remainder question wrong, ask yourself why. Did you make a careless mistake? Did you not properly apply the remainder formula? Was there a concept you did not understand in the question?
By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant, verbal, and DI topics.
