(1) The first term is 18.

(1) Since we don't know the value of last term, we can't find the value of N.
Thus, insufficient.

(2) Since we don't know the value of first term, we can't find the value of N.
Thus, insufficient.

From (1) and (2) together, we get,
70= 18+(N-1)*2
From the above equation we can find the value of N.
Thus, sufficient.

Therefore, the answer is option C.
