Could anyone please help me with these questions.
From 2005 to 2006, by what percent did the sales of Company A increase?
(1) In 2005, the sales for Company A were 1/4 of the sales of
Company B.
(2) In 2006, the sales for Company A were 3/4 of the sales of
Company B.
(1): 2006 sales = x
2005 sales = x/4
increase = 3x/4
%age = 300% hence sufficient to answer.
(2): same process hence sufficient to answer.
Hence D.

I think the Ans is E..
As the sales of Company B might have increased or decreased by anything from 2005 to 2006...

Either the OA for the question is wrong or a crucial piece of information is missing in the question. If OA has to be correct, the data for company B must be available in the question stem such as company B's sales was constant in both year or company B's sales increased by 50% in one year or something like that... Someone more experienced like bunuel can confirm this.
