Mini-GMAT or Executive Assessment Test is coming soon!
GMAC has announced a new test - Mini-GMAT, called Executive Assessment targeting EMBA applicants.
- The biggest benefit is that you have to take only 14 Q and 14 V questions along with 12 IR. The topics tested are also more reasonable and more suited for real-life situations (so no algebra or square roots and more word problems and arithmetic; supposedly no geometry either).
- The test is 90 minutes vs. 4.5 hours for the GMAT
- Currently 6 schools accept this test for their EMBA applicants (list is below)
- There is one catch - you can only take this exam 2 times in the lifetime (not sure if this will be relaxed further since I also heard reports that said it was only 1 time)... and the other one is the cost - it is $350 vs. $250 for the GMAT. However, it is worth paying $100 to save yourself a few hours.
