Hi nycgirl212,

The 'accuracy' of a CAT score is based heavily on how realistically YOU choose to make the CAT. If you skip sections, pause the Test, take it at home, take it at a different time of day as your Official GMAT, do anything else that is unrealistic, etc., then your score is likely to be less accurate. Your last 3 CAT scores seem to show an overall ability in the high-600s, but until you define the 'parameters' in how you took these CATS, we can't know how accurate (or 'inflated') these scores really are.

1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

My test is tomorrow morning! My goal score is 700.

Test 3 and 4 I did each section (awa, ir, quant, verbal). Took the full 8 minute breaks, didn't pause the test, used ear plugs. I did it to emulate the test day experience and also to build the stamina.

Hi nycgirl212,

Since your Official GMAT is on February 3rd, this information might not get to you in time - but here it is: GMAC has publicly stated that a Test Taker's Official GMAT Score is often within +/- 30 points of actual ability. This means that you could very well score above 700 on Test Day. In another post, you noted that you had made some little mistakes and that you had to rush through a certain number of questions at the end of the Quant and Verbal sections. All of those issues can swing a few questions that matter into the correct or incorrect column (and impact your overall score accordingly). Eliminating those little mistakes and making sure that you don't get 'hung up' on any one question are both essential to performing at a high level overall on Test Day. Stay calm, take the proper notes and make good decisions and you could very well score 700+ tomorrow.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
