Hi bonjoindia, thanks for the debrief. As mentioned above, it's good that you already know what you want to focus on for the next attempt. I agree that SC is moving in the "logical meaning" direction, which is frankly as important as the grammatical issue, so once you brush up on that aspect I believe your score will increase by a pretty good margin.

I haven't checked out the two courses you mentioned in depth, but I'm sure either one will be helpful.

Best of luck on the retake!
-Ron

Hi Ron,

After going through the reviews, I finally decided to go ahead with GMATPILL. Today, when I look back and analyze the reasons for my dismal performance, I find the following reasons:

Quant: Overconfidence - For the last week before the exam, I was only reviewing the Verbal section, thinking that in Quant section I can never score below 50. I cannot and will never again take Quant section for granted.

Verbal:
Sentence correction - not preparing for the eventuality - the meaning based questions. I consumed more time in this section than I should have and messed up.

Critical reasoning - Need to give up the 'Whether I can' mentality. Need to bring in 'Yes I can' mentality.

Reading comprehension - no problem as such, need to increase the speed. But eventually everything depends on my performance in SC and CR section.

Hope everything turns out nicely for my 2nd attempt.
